Creating New Habits for 2020 and beyond

Welcome to luxurious Taurus, insert-rosy-silky-flowy-kaftan and glamorous organic produce. Yes! And also no... Our bodies are wanting the comfort of the 5 senses, but everything around us is saying the world is changing. Uranus, the awakener, causing disruption for the sake of societal progression, has been in Taurus for the past 2 years and it will remain for another 5 years. This means that we will relate to the Earth and its valuables differently after Uranus finishes its visit to this part of the heavens.
The heavens dance, and as do we, in layered symbolism. Those who protest against quarantine, who wish to put others in danger exemplify the fixity of Taurus (the negative expression), taking a stand for the quality of their lives and financial portfolios - Holding, sustaining, persevering, forgoing humanity and choosing greed. This is not the true way of the Earth's abundant nature. The energy of disruption, Uranus, exposes possibilities and new ways of approaching old dynamics.
As Taurus represents the most fixed & habit-oriented of the signs, the challenge this month is to assess our relationship to sustainability. I do not write this to be another anxiety causing buzz in your endless feed, I write this as an invitation to start the process of thinking about how money, food/earth/soil, natural resources, and our relationship to our bodies (all Taurus themes) are going to be shifting. Just some food for thought as we have more time to think about how we want to approach life as states begin to open up (prematurely in my opinion).
