I am certified by the NCGR- Professional Astrologers Alliance and I have been engaged in the healing arts for over 12 years. My practice is influenced by classical astrology, modern psychological astrology and my studies in the healing arts. In 2019, I launched Oak Astrology School which is a reflection of my work as an astrologer, counselor and healer.

My work with astrology is informed by my experience as a queer first generation Filipinx American (they/them). I use astrology as a guidepost for the navigation of the material, ancestral, cosmic and practical. I am honored to share this work that has fully changed my life and continuously graces my life with knowledge, guidance and depth. I have been blessed to draw close other healers as students, especially BIPOC, LGBTQ and other Filipinx healers.

I am deeply passionate about the intersection of physical, mental and spiritual health and the journey to achieve and maintain that balance.

My work with astrology is a commitment to being fully accountable for my own healing and the cultivation of my heart for the benefit of all beings and to reduce harm in this world. This is not fluffy and superficial, it is warrior work which I bring this into my client sessions with honor, compassion, and humor.

Why study astrology?

What I have witnessed consistently from teaching astrology is that people are drawn to astrology for understanding, but what they end up receiving from it is always so much more than they had intended to experience.

I firmly believe that what is experienced is intimacy. Intimacy with life one’s own life and the intimacy with how one’s life is elegantly intertwined with all of life. It’s the type of grand accuracy that feels so true even if the language feels unfamiliar. It is this type of all encompassing truth that enlivens and proliferates the spirit and brings deep inspiration that addresses the entirety of ones histories and their becoming.

Passion

I began my spiritual journey over 12 years ago after an unexplained heart condition that prompted me to contemplate my own death. Trying various ways to heal myself I began to study herbalism, energy healing, yoga, meditation and divination. Loving all forms of natural healing my work with astrology is informed by many of the tools I’ve gained along my path.

I love astrology deeply, though I mainly identify as an artist because it is difficult to encapsulate the many pathways that I express as a healer. I’ve been a holistic chef, herbalist and ritualist for longer than I’ve been an astrologer and more recently starting Oak Astrology School 5 years ago, I just love to create within the realm of healing.
