NEPTUNE @ 29 PISCES

Neptune at 29 pisces is a lot of things, including the immense panic and existential fears that are so present during 2024. It also is playing a big role in the chart of Julian Assange right now and was also pretty much the degree of the previous Jupiter Uranus conjunction in 2010 when he published the infamous US military documents to wikileaks. He was also released from prison this week (and so close to the Jupiter Uranus conjunction of April/May 2024!) As Neptune goes retrograde, the gigantic list of collective anxieties we are facing at this time are associated with this peculiar period with Neptune traveling at this last degree of Pisces.

There is a fascinating correlation with Neptune’s journey through Pisces since 2010/2011 up until it starts to transition out the first time it enters Aries in March of 2025. While Neptune in Pisces is associated with the development of AI and the massive leap forward with technology and the ways that we consume media, the correlation with extremist ideology is a parallel to note.

Don’t our highly curated social media feeds perpetuate the one sidedness of what we WANT to see and engage? Becuase the algorithmi supports our choices by showing us what we want to see, is that not a similar thread to the political and religious extremism and propaganda that we are also experiencing?

Neptune in PIsces has thoroughly tossed the salad of collective consciousness in just a very short period of time. As Neptune will traverse between 29 Pisces between 2025 and Jan 2026, we are still witnessing the ceiling of our spiraling perceptions. I really love that we have the organizing structure of astrology that helps us to organize this parts of life that seem so chaotic and unprecedented!
