The Astrology of Summer 2022
The astrology of the summer 2022 is most characterized by the movement of Mars:
Mars in Aries 🔥 May 25- July 4
The ingress of Mars in Aries this year was eventful as there was a string of multiple shoots within in public spaces in the US once mars eapproached Jupiter in Aries.
By default Jupiter’s placement in the sign Aries throughout the summer will mean that our inspired actions also follow the movement of Mars. This sets the stage for confident and proactive ways of asserting ourselves. Jupiter determines where we are learning and where the collective is placing its attention.
How will this relate as Mars will changing signs a few times this summer? One way to understand this as a whole is that the signs Aries through Gemini have a strong affinity toward the development of self identification.
Collectively it may result in single-pointed-focus, brash individualism and zealous perspectives. I personally believe that integrating the political and social dynamics that have been developing earlier in the year is how we will be spending this summer. Integration is about virtue and lesson learning, how are you relating to the current state of the world? (This is a real question that I believe will be more fully addressed through the summer)
Mars in Taurus 🪨 July 4-August 20
Mars in Taurus will occur on US Independence Day July 4 this year. A strange and maybe fitting coincidence? About a year and a half ago the moment that that mars entered Taurus in 2021 was the infamous Insurrection of the Whitehouse. As cycles tend to reflect upon one another, it will be interesting to see what develops.
Mars and Uranus conjunct the North Node ⚡️ July 30- August 1
Mars in Taurus is much more tame that mars in Aries, but it is no less devoted to any inherent beliefs. This will type of intolerance will be further catalyzed by the highlight event of this summer: Mars and Uranus conjunct the North Node

Once the transit of Mars Uranus and the North Node will be exact from July 30-Aug 1, shocking world events will occur. Unfortunately with the presence of mars we may see more developments of violence. This transit will spark the events that will inform the rest of the year. We can expect major developments of technology and milestones when it comes to our food and economic systems.

Mars in Gemini 🤼♀️ August 20-March 25 2023
By August 20 Mars will enter Gemini where it will remain until March 25, 2023. This will be a long transit because of the 2 month retrograde that occurs in the autumn/winter.
Through the events that transpire this summer, our role will be to integrate and consciously process our perspectives. When it comes to any topic in the news, what do you have to say? Are you certain of your political stance in light of everything that is happening in your local and countrywide government? How are your viewpoints reflected in your everyday life? The alignment here is part of a 7 month inquiry. It’s gonna be a long one and we will move our lens of inquiry with the major developments that occur in August through November!
The astrology of 2022 is straight up drama and we are a part of it. As alchemists and mystics, we create with the elements that are available to us. We engage the density of reality to turn lead into gold.
Hold fast to love, to what vibrates as love. Create love from poison - as alchemists, we know how to do this. Mindless reaction is the abscence of reflection, it is monkey see monkey do.
Place harm through the cauldron of the heart first and watch yourself become masterful in times of turmoil.
