The Aries New Moon renews our personal motivations and is always a pretty good kick in the butt. With such a slow start to the year (Venus rX and heavy Saturn influence) this will be the month that will move us into a faster moving Q2.

While an Aries moon is characterized by action and initiation, this new moon has a very clear ASK.

Chiron and Mercury are closely configured to this new moon meaning that this month we are going to be working closely with personal resistance.

Aries is a very personal sign, however the placement of Mars in the collective sign of Aquarius indicates the paradox of personal sovereignty and collective impact. Mars is also conjunct Saturn and square the Nodes of fate, this places an overall heaviness around the capacity to express actions that measure up to the collective need.

Basically - “How can I, just 1 person really create the action that I really want to see as everything seems so fucked up?“

Literally didnt need the astrology to articulate a feeling that most heart centered people are feeling right now lol

However, the astrology does indicate that this theme is a very prominent feeling for this month and likely the world events will trigger this in a more pronounced way.

Pain as a pathway for personal breakthrough

Pain is, by far, the most motivating sensation in all of life. We are physiologically averse to pain and will unconsciously use all available faculties to reduce the experience of pain. A brilliant biological mechanism.

Pain is also genetic. Can you imagine the amount of effort that your mind has labored for you not to feel the inherited pain of colonization? An immense effort!

And paradoxically, resilience is also genetic, but I do consider resiliency to be nothing other than pure spiritual force.

The last thing that we need at this time after 2 years of a pandemic, horrible politics and impending chaos is the lose our resilience, that is a denial of our spiritual force.
